‘I Made It’, the new single by French indie-dance artist Myd (Ed Banger), featuring production from the Picard Brothers — who have been instrumental in shaping contemporary music over the

past few years. The French duo’s songwriting and production credits reads like a who’s who of global icons – from Beyonce and Dua Lipa through to Mark Ronson, Major Lazer and Rudimental. Breathing fresh energy into French touch and soulful, golden-era house, their recent output follows a rich lineage of French dance music that can be

traced back to Daft Punk, Laurent Garnier and Stardust. The Picard Brothers have reimagined and revitalized classic sounds in a way that connects with the contemporary dance music space — is out now via Ed Banger Records / Because Music. Myd has also shared news of his first ever live North American tour coming to the states this December. An upbeat piano driven indie dance track, ‘I Made It’, celebrates Myd’s successes while offering feelings of inspiration to all listeners. With funky ‘80s throwback synthesizers paired with infectious vocals, the track comes to a crescendo creating the ultimate high energy end of summer anthem. ‘I Made It’ continues themes of unity, togetherness, sunshine and nonconformity which flow throughout Myd’s music.

The track is accompanied by a live video filled with footage of Myd’s most recent tour across Europe and Australia. Full of his signature antics, friends, fans, and some furry creatures met along the way, the video captures Myd’s distinct energy that make his live experiences so memorable. His performances have sold out to thousands of fans worldwide and proved to be impossible for audiences to resist dancing and singing along, “A year and a half after the release of my debut album ‘Born a Loser’ I spent a month in the studio working on new songs. It’s this year of touring all around the world, partying with my favorite artists and seeing my community grow so fast that inspired me the song ‘I Made It’, Myd said about the track. “It’s a blessing to what’s happening to me right now and a conclusion to the Loser chapter. It’s time to take off”, he added.

The Deluxe Version of ‘Born A Loser’ is due out Fall 2022 which features ‘I Made It’, remixes, and other unreleased content from the original album released in 2021 on Ed Banger Records / Because Music. The track comes alongside the announcement of Myd’s first ever North American Live Tour, kicking off this December with stops at The Music Hall of Williamsburg (NY), Velvet Underground (Toronto), Corona Theater (Montreal), The New Parish (Oakland) and The El Rey (Los Angeles).

The tour concludes with a stop at Tropico Festival in Acapulco, Mexico. Tickets for the tour will be available via artist presale beginning September 28.

Born in Lille, Myd is a singer, guitarist, DJ, producer, songwriter and whose debut album ‘Born A Loser’ was released via Ed Banger Records last year to widespread acclaim. He has been nominated for a Victoires de la Musique Award (the equivalent of a GRAMMY in France), and recently saw single ‘The Sun’ be certified Gold worldwide. He has been making music for over ten years, firstly as a founding member of the beloved collective Club Cheval, where he helped produce and remix for artists including Kanye West, Dua Lipa, Theophilus London, Brodinski and more. He then went solo, signing to Pedro Winter’s Ed Banger Records, and released debut album ‘Born A Loser’ in 2021. In 2022 Myd set out on a US Club Tour and collaborated with Tom MacFarland of Jungle on ‘Domino’, further growing his fan base in North America and beyond.
