Patrice unveils his new single today, the heartfelt ‘Sun Is Out,’ and announces the release of his new album ‘9,’ scheduled for November 3rd. Symbolizing the artistic evolution of the German singer and composer, this ninth studio album – the first since ‘Life’s Blood’ (2016) – follows the ‘Super Album’ (2022), a best-of where he reinterpreted his greatest hits, and the ‘Super Tour’ with its sold-out shows throughout Europe.

Known for his emotionally transcendent music that defies genre boundaries, Patrice invites us on an introspective journey closely tied to the symbolism of the number nine.

« I was born on the 9th, the day my grandfather left us. […]
The notion of rebirth has always been present in my life, from my very first day. For my ninth studio album, I took the time to step back, to rebuild myself. These past seven years have been dedicated to discovering myself, and it’s this inner journey that gave life to this album. »

For 20 years, Patrice has refused to conform, preserving his creativity, artistic freedom, and the uniqueness of his music. Since 2016, he has been based in Jamaica, successfully slowing down the constant pace of his career, which he began at the age of 19, amidst his solo albums, tours, and international collaborations (Cody ChesnuTT, CeeLo Green, Asa, and even Selah Sue, whose debut album produced by Patrice achieved gold and platinum certifications in France).

Each of us has a favorite number, carrying personal significance. Patrice, known for his profound creativity, shares his admiration for the number nine and associates it with the color blue.

« When I think of the number nine, I see the color blue. Perhaps because the ‘blue hour’ is filled with so much potential and faith. The day ahead is still just an idea in gestation, an idea that can become anything we want it to be. »
Through this symbolism, Patrice embodies the essence of birth and rebirth, symbolizing the transition from one phase to a new stage in life.
